On Friday 4th November a group of OLCC pupils visited St. Peter’s Cathedral for the Diocesan Year of Mercy Youth Vigil.
We teamed up with the Youth Team from Castlerigg Manor to lead the music for the evening, by playing instruments and leading the singing. The music was suited to the event with both reflective and upbeat songs.
There was opportunity to go to confession and we heard various teachings about Mercy from Fr. Hugh and members of the Cenacolo Community.
Laura, who sang in the choir, said “I think it was a joyful way to celebrate the Year of Mercy”.
We all enjoyed the evening and are thankful to those who organised the event. We would love to help again.
