Dear Parent,

There are places for two parent governors on the governing body of Our Lady’s Catholic College.  They are elected by the parents of pupils to serve a four-year term of office.  There is now a vacancy for one parent governor.

You may, if you wish, put yourself forward for election, using the nomination form on our website.  Attached below are some documents containing useful and essential information for those considering putting themselves forward.

The timetable for the election is:

1. Nomination e-form below to be completed by 12.00 noon on Monday 23rd March 2026.
2. A voting e-form will be added to the website by 10am on Tuesday 24th March 2026.

(Voting will only take place if there are more nominations than vacancies)

3. The voting will close at 12.00 noon on Monday 20th April 2026.
4. Results will be announced by 12.00 noon on Tuesday 21st April 2026.

Governors have an important and influential role to play in the life of our school, and we do hope you will be able to take part in this election by either becoming a candidate or by casting your vote when the time comes.
