Mathematics Assessment  Paper 1: Non-Calculator  Paper 2: Calculator  Paper 3: Calculator In GCSE Maths, two tiers are available: Foundation (maximum Grade 5) or Higher. Each student is permitted to take assessments in either the Foundation tier or Higher tier and the qualification consists of three equally-weighted written examination papers at either tier. There is no civilisation without maths.
