The deadline for votes is 12pm Monday 16th October.

Gareth Jones

My eldest of 5 has just started his journey in secondary school at OLCC. Therefore, I would like to guide and influence has best I can in order for him and his siblings to receive the best education they can along with a positive and memorable high school experience. My background is in policing and has been for the last 8 years.  This has given my valuable experience I can use to bring an unbiased approach to help parents pupils and teachers.

Paul Hartley

Having one child in year 9 with another hopefully joining after next summer I am keen to lend my knowledge and experience to help in any way that I can. My wife attended the school in the past and has fond memories of being there so it would be great to be able to help the school be as good as it can be for my children and all pupils who attend.  I note the previous OFSTED report mentioned holding leaders to account and this is something I have experience with in my day job as a sales engineer.

Jason Barlow

My name is Jason I am 53 years old and skilled leader. During my career I have lead large teams across Europe overcoming cultural and language barriers and also worked with young people. I have put myself forward as parent governor because today’s world is very different and challenging for schools and especially pupils. I strongly believe pupils well-being and health plays a big part in their school life today and as a governor I can help support the school, teachers, parents and pupils.

Lindsay Haworth

My name is Lindsay Haworth. I have two daughters; the elder currently in Year 8 and younger is an applicant hopefully starting at Our Lady’s in 2024. I have worked in education my entire career. Leading the English/Maths curriculum in FE (including prison) settings for 15 years. Then moving to Lancaster Uni where I manage budgeting, HR and operations management for my department. I have a vested interest in the continued success of the school and would like to be part of shaping its future.
