Entry requirements

Receiving your GCSE results in August and considering where to continue your studies? Our Lady's has courses to suit all abilities.  Email a.bates@olcc.lancs.sch.uk and leave your phone details and Mrs Bates will get back to you within a couple of days.

To study three or four GCE or BTEC Level 3 courses you need to have a minimum of 5 GCSE or equivalent Grades of 9-4, including a minimum of Grade 4 in either Mathematics or English GCSE.  A number of courses have specific requirements, please see the 6th form prospectus for these.

Option Changes

On some occasions, you may find that one of the courses you have chosen to study is not quite what you expected or you may be finding a course too challenging. There may also be some instances where your teacher expresses a concern about your suitability for the course. It may then be appropriate for you to opt for a different subject. The earlier this takes place, the better, as it obviously involves catching up on work missed in the new subject.

Option changes can only be made up until the end of September. After this date you are committed to the courses you have chosen.
